Assault

Belleville, Ontario ? On March 16, 2011 between 3:30 and 3:35 p.m., two youths were assaulted in the mall parking lot. The youths were walking through the west lot when they were approached by three unknown males. The first suspect ?sucker' bunched one of the victims in the face causing the victim to fall to the ground. While on the ground a second suspect punched him several times.

The third suspect then started punching the second victim striking him several times in the face. The three suspects then fled from the lot running towards Bell Blvd.

The suspects were described as all being approximately 18 to 20 years old. One suspect had short blond hair, wearing a black toque and was approximately 6 ft tall with a thin build.

The second suspect was described as being ?scruffy' in appearance and was wearing a brown and gray hoodie.

The third suspect was wearing a hat and was carrying a black backpack.

One of the victims received minor facial injuries as a result of this assault however did not require medical attention.

Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the three suspects in this incident. Unlawfully in a Dwelling

Belleville, Ontario ? On March 16, 2011 at 9:36 a.m. a home owner on Yeoman Street reported a male had just forced his way into her home and was laying on her couch. When police arrived they found him in the living room of the home.

A 17 year old Belleville youth was arrested and charged with Unlawfully in a Dwelling House and Mischief to Property. The youth was later released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to attend in court in April 2011. The youth cannot be named due to the provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Robbery

Belleville, Ontario ? On March 16, 2011 at 9:55 p.m., a store on Adam Street was robbed. The suspect entered the store and threw a bag at an employee telling him to ?fill it up'. The suspect had the other employees present turn their backs as not to see him. No weapon was seen by the employees however the suspect kept his hands concealed in his pocket throughout this incident.

Once receiving an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect fled from the store travelling west.

The suspect is described as male, white, 30 to 40 years, approximately 5'5?, heavy build, wearing blue cargo pants, green striped sweater, black ball cap. The suspect had short brown hair and tanned skin.
