Belleville, Ontario On March 15th, 2013, at 10:30 p.m., a woman was walking on Bridge Street east at Foster Avenue when a car approached her. A male passenger seated in the rear of the car asked for directions. As the woman started to provide directions, this male exited the car and grabbed her by the coat. The woman broke free, and the male got back into the car. The car was last seen heading eastbound on Bridge St. East.

The car is described as: white, 4 door, older model car similar to Chevrolet Lumina.

There was rust over the rear passenger wheel well as well as the passenger side of the vehicle. The engine made a ticking sound.

The male suspect is described as: white, in his 30's, thick build, white complexion, goatee, with a scar on the right side of his face near his temple

He was wearing a black puffy jacket, blue jeans, and a blue ballcap with a logo on the front.

The driver of the car was also a male. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.

Any information on the identity of these males or the vehicle can be forwarded to Criminal Investigations Division or Crimestoppers.

The woman was not injured.


Belleville, Ontario On March 16th, 2013, at 12:28 p.m., police attended at 470 Dundas St. East as a car had struck a person on a scooter. The motorist was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian. There were no injuries in this mishap.


Belleville, Ontario On March 16th, 2013, at 11:05 p.m., an officer on patrol observed a male crawling on the sidewalk on Front St. north of Victoria Avenue. The 50 year old Belleville man was determined to be intoxicated and was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.

On March 17th, 2013, at 1:40 a.m., several calls were received about a male causing a disturbance on Front Street. A 43 year old Belleville man was located and arrested for public intoxication. No one was injured.

On March 17th, 2013, at 2:40 a.m., police responded to the parking lot of a bar on Front Street. A male was located inside a parked vehicle. A 29 year old Manitoba man was arrested for public intoxication.

On March 17th, 2013, at 2:45 a.m. police responded to the parking lot of a bar on North Front Street as several women were fighting. The combatants were separated and sent on their respective ways. There were no injuries.

On March 17th, 2013, at 3:10 a.m. police responded to the parking lot of a North Front Street restaurant in relation to a disturbance. All parties were sent on their way.
