Indecent Act Belleville, Ontario


 The Belleville Police Service are asking for the assistance of the public in solving an incident that occurred in Belleville on Monday May 12, 2014. At approximately 5:30 pm on that date, a female was walking along the riverfront trail underneath the bridge overpass at Front Street. An unknown male approached her and assaulted her before leaving the area on foot. The male is described as white, early 30s, approximately 510 in height, with brown hair and a thin build. He was wearing only a pair of shorts with no shirt. Police would like to speak to any witnesses, specifically a male and female in early 30s that were seen walking a golden retriever in the area of Station Street at Pinnacle Street near the Riverfront Trail around the time of this incident. Anyone who can assist in the investigation is asked to call the investigating officer PC Dan Hounslow of the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.
