Motor vehicle collision

Belleville ON – Police responded to a 2 vehicle collision at Dundas ST E and Haig Rd at 4:40pm.  One vehicle was flipped on its side with the driver still in the vehicle.  After being removed from the vehicle, the driver was transported to Quinte Health Care by EMS.  Investigation is still ongoing.



Belleville ON – A male suspect was arrested during a shoplifting incident at a business located north of the city.  He was found removing tags from merchandise and then proceeding out the store without making attempt to pay for the items.  He was apprehended by loss prevention officers after leaving.  As a result of the investigation the suspect was charged with Theft under $5000 and scheduled for a June court date.


Disturbance – Bat vs Rock

Belleville ON – Police were called to a disturbance between two men on Mary St at 8pm.  One being armed with a bat and the other armed with a rock.  Both engaged in a fight and sustained injuries as a result of the melee.  The fight was ruled a draw and both needed to be transported to Quinte Health Care for treatment.  They were uncooperative with police and would not provide information regarding the incident.
