Belleville Police Service responded to 51 calls for service from the 16th of November 2019 at 5:00 a.m. to the 17th of November at 5:00 am


Belleville, ON – On the 16th of November at 8:02 p.m. police attended a west end location to attempt to locate a male wanted by Belleville Police. Upon arrival, police located the male who agreed to go willingly with police. A 34 year old male, from Belleville, was arrested for breaching his probation as a result of a domestic related incident. The warrant was unendorsed, so the male was held for a show cause hearing on the 17th of November 2019.

Family Dispute

Belleville, ON – On the 17th of November 2019, at approximately 1:59 a.m., police attended a west end residence for a report of a family dispute. Family members were heavily intoxicated, due to the consumption of alcoholic beverages, which led to a disagreement. Police thought the issue had subsided with one family member agreeing to leave for the night. Unfortunately, police were called to reattend a short time later. A 28 year old Belleville male was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place, while a 21 year old Belleville male was arrested for breaching the peace. Both were later released once deemed to be able to care for themselves.
