The Belleville Police responded to 79 calls for service between the 16th of May 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and the17th of May 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Warrant 

Belleville, ON - On May 16th 2019 at 10:14 p.m., police received a call to a west end residence regarding a male entering an abandoned building. Officers quickly located the male and ascertained that he had outstanding warrants from Quinte West OPP. A 45 year-old Belleville man was arrested and transported to Quinte West OPP to answer to the warrant.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville, ON – On the 16th of May 2019 at approximately 9:04 p.m., police were called to the Blessington Rd. area for report of a motorcycle accident. A 73 year-old Belleville man lost control of his motorcycle and drove into the ditch. The male was transported to BGH where he was later released with minor injuries.

Breach of the peace

Belleville, ON – On the 16th of May 2019 at approximately 8:29 p.m., police officers were called to a west end residence regarding a family dispute. A 33 year-old Belleville man was arrested for breaching the peace and later released unconditionally.
