Police Pursuit

On the 17th of December, 2017 at 10:49am, a keen officer on patrol observed a parked vehicle without licence plates. A short time later, the same vehicle was observed driving with licence plates attached, however, they didn’t belong on the vehicle. Police initiated a traffic stop but the vehicle refused to pull over and sped off. Police engaged in a short vehicle pursuit but called it off due to public safety concerns. The police then attended the original address where the vehicle was first observed and caught the driver of the vehicle in his backyard. A 43 year old Belleville man was charged with flight from police, dangerous driving  and will appear in court in early January, 2018.
