On the 17^th of March 2016 the Criminal Investigations Branch of the Belleville Police Service concluded an investigation into Human Trafficking based on information that had been previously received.  As a result of the Investigation a 48 year old Belleville man has been charged with the following 7 offences and held for a bail hearing.

• Human Trafficking

• Material Benefit

• Assault Cause Bodily Harm

• 2 Counts of Assault

• Forcible Confinement

• Uttering Threats

The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
