Break and Enter

 

Belleville, Ontario – On April 17th, 2016, at 7:52 a.m. police attended at a business on Hwy 62 in relation to a report of a break and enter. Sometime overnight unknown persons gained entry and removed cash. Any information can be forwarded to Constable Dan Hounslow at 613-966-0882 ext. 4012 or Quinte Crimestoppers at 613-969-8477.

 

On April 17th, 2016, at 10:41 a.m. police attended at an apartment on Benjamin Street in relation to a break and enter complaint. The homeowner was in the process of providing a list of missing items from the apartment.

 

On April 17th, 2016, at 9:29 p.m. police attended at a business on Old Hwy 2 in relation to an alarm call. Entry had been gained into the business and cash was taken. The Forensic Identification Section processed the scene and the investigation is continuing. On April 18th, 2016, at 12:11 a.m. police attended at a construction site in the City’s north end in relation to a break and enter. Three tool cabinets were pried open and an unknown quantity of tools was taken. Any information can be forwarded to Constable Eric Hadley at 613-966-0882 ext. 4153 or Quinte Crimestoppers.

 

 

Disturbance

 

Belleville, Ontario – On April 17th, 2016, at 7:06 p.m. officers attended on Geddes Street as several males were involved in disturbance. Two males were taken into custody at the scene. One male was released unconditionally at the scene while a 22-year old Belleville man was charged with two counts of breach of an undertaking. He will appear in court on May 26th, 2016. Alcohol was a factor in this incident. No one was injured.
