Break & Enter

Belleville, Ontario ? On August 18, 2010 at 4:15 a.m., police responded to an alarm at a Dundas Street East dental office. Police arrived within minutes and found the office had been entered through a north door. Entry had been gained by prying the door from its frame. Once inside suspects removed an undisclosed amount of cash. A witness living in the area reported seeing, possibly two males, fleeing the area running through neighboring back yards. The Canine Unit was called to assist and was able to track the suspects to the area of Victoria Ave between Ann St and William St where the track ended.

Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the suspects in this Break & Enter. Anyone with information that may assist police is asked to call the Belleville Police Service at 613 966 0882 or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222 TIPS.

Assault

Belleville, Ontario ? On August 17, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. police arrested a Belleville male for domestic related offences. Several incidents were reported to police that are alleged to have occurred over the past few weeks. The allegations involve several incidents of assault towards the victim and her children. A 19 year old Belleville male was arrested and charged with one count of Assault Causing Bodily Harm, four counts of Assault, one count of Breach of Probation, one count of Utter Death Threats and one count of Break & Enter. He has been held is custody for a Bail Hearing set for August 18th.

The name of the male will not be released as to protect the identity of the victims involved.

Theft & Mischief ? Old Madoc Rd

Belleville, Ontario ? On August 17, 2010, police responded to three incidents of Mischief and Theft on Old Madoc Road. All incidents occurred between August 16th at 11:00 p.m. and August 17th at 7:45 a.m. At one location suspects entered three vehicles and took a GPS and several personal items. At a second location a garage door and four vehicles were spray painted. Suspects also removed change from two of these vehicles. At a third location suspects sprayed painted a garage door.
