Assaults – Belleville, Ont.

At approximately 2:45 A.M. August 18^th, 2012 police arrested a male for assault in the city's core area. Earlier in the evening the accused assaulted another male during a disturbance at a residence in the core area. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. Charged with 1 count of assault is 42 year old Paul Slofstra of Windsor. The accused will be held for a bail hearing on August 20^th, 2012
