Public Intoxication Belleville On

In the early morning hours of the 18th August 2013 police responded to a disturbance at a west end residence. Police conducted an investigation which lead to the arrest of a 23 year old Tweed man for public intoxication. The drunk male was lodged in the police cells until he was sober enough to go home . He was given a Provincial Offence notice under the Liquor License Act.

ON the 18th August 2013 at approximately 2 am police responded to a passed out male in front of a local pizza shop. Upon arrival their arrival police found a 24 year old Belleville man asleep on the sidewalk. The male was arrested for public intoxication and his own safety and taken to the Belleville police Service. The male will be released with Provincial Offence Notice for being intoxicated in a public place

Domestic Belleville On.

The Belleville Police responded to a to eight domestic situations over the past 24 hours. One domestic situation which was reported in the west end of the city lead to the arrest and charge for a 20 year male from Belleville The male was given a court date early in September a the new court house on Bridge street west. There were minor injuries reported by the victim. The other incident s were investigated with no charges being laid

Theft from Motor Vehicles Belleville On

In the past 24 hours there has been report of seven different of motor vehicles being entered in the west end of Belleville. Unknown person(s) are going through the vehicle and take whatever is easy to carry. A quick reminder to residents of the City. Lock your cars doors at night and if you hear anything strange or see anything suspicious call the police
