Theft- Belleville Ontario

 

At approximately 4:15Pm Belleville Police Service responded to a call for assistance from a loss prevention officer pursuing a male party suspected of stealing from a North Front Street business. Police located the male entering a vehicle at the Highway 37 and Highway 401 exit. Investigation revealed that the male had attempted to steal approximately $300 in property. Glen Green 36yrs of Kingston is charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation. He was released with a June court date.

 

Break and Enters Belleville, Ontario

 

At approximately 01:30 am on May 18, 2014 police were called to a West Street residence to investigate a report of a break and enter.  Police located 3 youths nearby. Investigation revealed that 2 other nearby residential garages were entered and items stolen.  2 motorized scooters, 4 bicycles as well as a laptop and camera were recovered.  The youths, 2 ages 17 and one 15yrs were arrested and charged with 3 counts of break and enter dwelling house, 1 count of break and enter- place. The youths were released from custody on a promise to appear for court in June. The investigation is continuing.
