Belleville, Ont. ? On October 18, 2009, at 10:30 p.m., a Russell Street resident reported a Break & Enter to her residence. Entry was gained through a rear window sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. A lap top was reported stolen.
Disturb the Peace & Assault
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 18, 2009, at 2:20 a.m., police responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of a North Front Street fast food restaurant. It was initially reported that 5 or 6 males were fighting in the lot. As a result of the fight one male required medical assistance and was later released from Belleville General Hospital with minor injuries. The suspect in this assault is described as male, wearing jeans and a dark coloured ?hoodie?. This Assault is under investigation.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 18, 2009, at 3:25 a.m., police received a report of disturbance at the north end of the City. It is alleged a male at this residence had been drinking alcohol most of the day. He became upset and threw a lamp at the victim and proceeded to damage other property in the house. A short time later police arrested a 53 year old Shannonville male for assault. He was released on a Promise to Appear OIC Undertaking with a court date in November. The victim received minor injuries as a result of this assault.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 18, 2009, at 2:17 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on North Front Street. The male driver was arrested for Impaired Driving. Further investigation revealed this same male was a Suspended Driver. A 24 year old Shannonville man was charged with one count each of Impaired Driving, Refuse to Provide Breath Sample, Drive While Disqualified. He was released on a Promise to Appear and will appear in court in November.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 18, 2009, at 2:30 a.m., while investigating an Impaired Driver on North Front Street police came into contact with another male at the scene. As a result the male was arrested for Intoxicated in a Public Place. He was also found to be in Possession of Marijuana. A 23 year old Marysville male was charged with Possession of Marijuana contrary to the CDSA. He was released with a November court date.
Liquor Licence Act
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 18, 2009, at 12:20 a.m., Police were in the area of a North Front Street bar when they were approached with a report of an intoxicated male attempting to gained entry into the bar. The male was found to be extremely intoxicated, did know where he was when asked and unable to walk without assistance. He was arrested for his own protection and charged with Intoxicated in a Public Place contrary to the Liquor Licence Act.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 18, 2009, at 5:10 p.m., received a report of a stolen vehicle from the Quinte Mall parking lot. The vehicle had been taken sometime between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The vehicle is a 2008 Honda, CRV, green in colour, four door, and plate number BCTS659. There are three Canadian Flag decals on the rear of the vehicle.
