Robbery

 

At approximately 2:00pm on October 18th, 2014 police responded to an east end Pharmacy to investigate a report of a robbery. A lone male had entered the store and demanded drugs from the Pharmacy employee. The suspect was observed brandishing a knife. The suspect was wearing a ski mask and is described as being 57, having short dark hair, wearing a dark hoodie, black pants, and tan coloured sneakers. A small quantity of drugs was stolen and the suspect fled the area on foot. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crime stoppers.

 

Assault

 

At approximately 6:30pm on October 18th, 2014 police responded to a north end business to investigate a report of assault on a store security guard. Three persons two males and a female with a young child attempted to steal a T.V. when confronted by store security one of the males 22 year old Belleville man Aaron Rushlow assaulted the security guard and then fled the area with the other suspects.  The security guard sustained minor injuries and the other suspects are described as being female in her 30s with long blonde hair, slight build wearing a black sweatshirt the male was wearing a grey jacket and blue jeans (no other descriptors). Rushlow was charged with assault, possession CDSA and breach of probation he will appear in a Belleville court in late November. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crime stoppers.
