Impaired Drivers
Belleville, Ontario – On October 17th, 2015, at 9:47 p.m. police responded to a driving complaint on Dundas street west. Upon officers arrival they were passed by a vehicle moving at a very high rate of speed and all over the roadway. Officers stopped the vehicle and found the male to be suffering from the effects of too much alcohol. A 51 year old Kingston Ontario man was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and having over 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood. The male will appear in Belleville Provincial court on the 5th November 2015.
Belleville, Ontario- On the 18 October 2015 at 2:10 am police responded to a complaint about a motor vehicle travelling on Pine street with sparks flying from the passenger side wheel. Investigation revealed the rim had been worn off, causing the sparks. Once police stopped the vehicle on Pine street , the Fire Department were called to extinguish a fire which had started. Police arrested a 28 year Belleville female for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and having over 80 mgs of alcohol in here blood. She blew almost four times the legal limits. The young lady will appear in Belleville Provincial Court in early November
Motor Vehicle Collison Belleville Ontario-
Follow up to original call on the 6th October 2015
On the 6th October 2015 at 12:32 pm, a motor vehicle Collison occurred at 211 North Front Street involving a 14 year old female from Shannonville.
Investigation revealed the female ran westbound into the path of a northbound vehicle and was struck. Thee female has since been released from the hospital, and continues to recover from her injuries at home. No charges will be laid in the collison
