The Belleville Police Service responded to 44 calls between December 17th 2018 at 5:00 a.m. and December 18th 2018 at 5:00 a.m.


Belleville, ON – Police responded to a north-end department store on December 17th at 5:32 p.m. as a male suspect was arrested by store security.  He was observed leaving the store with a pair of headphones and a cell phone case making no attempt to pay for the items.  A 27 year-old man was charged under the Trespass to Property Act and was trespassed from the property.

Motor Vehicle Collison

Belleville, ON – Police, fire, and EMS attended the intersection of North Front Street and College Street for a report of a pedestrian pinned under a vehicle.  The collision occurred when a 21 year-old pedestrian was within the crosswalk and the vehicle was traveling through the intersection.  After the vehicle was lifted off the pedestrian, he was transported to Quinte Health Care for minor injuries.  The Traffic Management Unit is currently investigating the collision.
