Motor Vehicle Collision


Belleville, Ontario – On April 18th, 2018, at 1:04 p.m. police attended on North Front Street at Bell Blvd. in relation to a two-car collision. Paramedics attended to treat one of the drivers for minor injuries. One vehicle was towed from the scene. A charge was laid under the Highway Traffic Act against one of the drivers.




Missing child located


Belleville, Ontario – On April 18th, 2018, at 8:00 p.m. police received a frantic call from a mother about her missing three-year-old daughter. A pair of officers searched the home while a grid search was being organized. The child was located sleeping in the basement of the home underneath some blankets by the officers.




Arrested on warrants


Belleville, Ontario – On April 19th, 2018, at 3:51 a.m. an officer on patrol observed a male walking on James Street. The male was wanted on outstanding warrants for theft under $5000.00 and breach of probation. The 24-year-old Belleville man was arrested and held for a bail hearing on April 19th, 2018.
