Theft from Motor Vehicles- Belleville On

In the past 24 hours there have been reports of four different of motor vehicles being entered in the east end of Belleville. Unknown person(s) are going through the vehicles and taking whatever is easy to carry. A quick reminder to residents of the city to lock your cars doors, remove valuables and if you hear anything strange or see anything suspicious call the police

Stolen Vehicle- Belleville, Ontario

During the overnight hours on the 18th of August, a 2008 Pontiac Montana Van red in colour was taken from the driveway of an Edward Street address. The van was plated with Ontario plates BNZW465 and had a rear window sticker of 2 girls and a boy skateboarding. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

Shoplifting- Belleville, Ontario

On the 18th of August at approximately 7Pm Police attended a North Front Street business regarding a shoplifting complaint. Investigation revealed a 48 year old male from Belleville attempted to remove items from the business without paying for them. The male was charged with theft under $5,000, and released on a Promise to appear with a September 19th court date.
