Domestic Dispute ? Belleville, Ont.

At approximately 4:27 pm on April 18, 2012 police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a Palmer Road residence. A male and female had been arguing while driving and when they returned to their home she exited the vehicle and refused to get back inside as he was demanding. He then purposely drove the vehicle into a large garbage dumpster before leaving the area. A short time later he drove northbound on Highway #62 and intentionally drove into a guard rail to cause further damage to the vehicle he was driving. As a result of the investigation, a 28 year old Belleville man was arrested for the following offences:

  1. Dangerous Driving
  2. Mischief Under $5000
  3. Driving under Suspension

The male was held for a Bail Hearing on April 19, 2012. His name is not being released in order to protect the identity of the victim.
