Theft and Resist Arrest

 

Belleville, Ontario – On Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 3:05 pm, police responded to a business on Millennium Parkway in regards to a theft and disturbance.  On arrival, police were advised that a male had stolen a 48 inch LED television from the store and upon arrest by store employees, the male began resisting and would not provide his name.  As a result of the investigation, a 41 year old male from Toronto has been charged with Theft under $5,000 and Resist Arrest and is being held for a show cause hearing on 19 January 2015. 

 

 

Mischief to vehicle

 

Belleville, Ontario – On Sunday, January 18, 2015 between 3:30 and 7:30 pm, the rear window of a vehicle was smashed while parked on Coleman Street.  There are no suspect(s) at this time. 

 

 

Drive while suspended

 

Belleville, Ontario – On Monday, January 19, 2015 at 1:40 am, police on routine patrol stopped a vehicle on Front Street.  As a result of that stop, police discovered the driver had a suspended driver’s licence.    The vehicle was towed and a 27 year old female was subsequently charged with Drive while suspended and given a court date in February.
