Theft from Vehicles, - Belleville Ontario  On the 18thof June 2014 Belleville Police Service investigated several reports of vehicles being entered overnight in the Bridge Street West area. Personal property and change was removed from the vehicles. Police are reminding owners to park in well lighted areas, securing their vehicles and to remove valuables from their unattended vehicles. Citizens are asked to call Police if they see suspicious activity.


Bear Sightings,- Belleville Ontario On the 18th of June 2014 at approximately 5:00Pm Belleville Police Service received a call from a concerned citizen in the Morgan Road area reporting the sighting of several bears in the backyard area. Police are reminding persons not to approach the bears and report sightings to the Ministry of Natural Resources Bear Reporting Line at 1-866-514-2327.


Break and Enter- Belleville, Ontario On the 18th of June 2014 at 5:30Pm Belleville Police Service investigated a residential Break and Enter to a home on Purdy Street. Investigation revealed the home had been entered during the past 24 hours with electronics being removed. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crime Stoppers.
