Suspicious Person

Belleville, On – On 18 June, 2018 at 2:18 p.m., police were contacted by a business from Front Street and it was reported that a male was in the store asking to be given merchandise.  Investigation revealed that a 38 year old Belleville male was intoxicated and was subsequently arrested for his own protection.  This male was later released and issued a ticket for Public Intoxication.

 

Mischief

Belleville -  On 18 June, 2018 at 06:53 a.m. police attended at a business on Dussek Street in response to a complaint of mischief to property sometime over the weekend.  It was reported that unknown person(s) forced entry into a vehicle and caused damage to the vehicle while tampering with the vehicle.  Investigation is ongoing.

 

Thefts

Belleville – On 18 June, 2018 police initiated investigations into 7 theft complaints.  Thefts from motor vehicles were reported from Moira St East, Charles St. and Cascade Blvd.  The thieves stole property from unlocked vehicles.

Belleville Police would like to remind the public to secure all valuables and to use al  locks that available.
