Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle

Belleville, Ontario ? 19 March 2010, at 1:11 a.m. police responded to a restaurant on North Front Street in relation to a complaint of an impaired driver, that was still at the restaurant. A sample of the driver's breath registered a fail on the Alcotest and Intoxilizer. The driver was subsequently charged for Operating a motor vehicle with more that 80 mgs of alcohol. David Vallier (26 years) of Kingston and will appear in Provincial Court on 8 April, 2010.


Belleville, Ontario ? On March 19, 2010, police responded to a west end home regarding a complaint of assault. It was alleged the victim's son had been in an agitated state over the past several days. On this date the son repeatedly threatened to strike her. The suspect approached the victim and with a closed fist struck her in the abdomen. Police arrested the 22 year old Belleville male and charged him with Assault. He has been held in custody awaiting a Bail Hearing set for March 22, 2010. The name of the suspect will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.

Break & Enter

Belleville, Ontario ? On March 19, 2010, police received two reports of Break & Enter. The first occurred at a college dorm room on Wallbridge Loyalist Road. Entry was gained through an insecure window. Taken was a 13? Mac Notebook computer. The second Break & Enter occurred at an address on Willard Street. Entry was gained through an upper window and occurred sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Taken was a Gibson electric guitar, an acoustic guitar and a PV Rage amplifier.
