Theft-Shoplifting/Resist Arrest

Belleville, Ontario- On the 18th of March 2015 at 5:55Pm Police responded to a shoplifting call at a North Front Street business. Investigation revealed that female had been inside the store removing merchandise and fled the store when approached by employees. She was apprehended outside by store security and a struggle ensued. A 27yr old female from Belleville is charged with theft under $5000 and resisting arrest. She was released on a promise to appear in court on the 23rd of April 2015.

Impaired Driving

Belleville Ont, At 0245 hrs officers were on patrol in the area of Moira St w and Frank St. They observed two vehicles driving erratically .Both vehicles were stopped and the drivers arrested for impaired driving .After providing samples of breath into an Intoxilyser , both males in their 20’s were given three day drivers license  suspension.
