The Belleville Police Service responded to 70 calls for service between November 18th 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and November 19th 2019 at 5:00 a.m.

Motor vehicle collisions

Belleville, ON - On November 18th at 5:42 p.m. police were called to the intersection of Wallbridge-Loyalist Road and Hamilton Road in relation to a three-car collision. The vehicle that rear-ended the other vehicles failed to remain at the scene. It is described as a white hatchback car. There were no injuries. Belleville, ON - On November 18th at 11:20 p.m. a motorist advised that she was struck on Sidney Street by a blue or black hatchback car. This vehicle failed to remain at the scene. The investigation is ongoing. Any information can be forwarded to Constable DeSousa at


Belleville, ON - On November 18th at 8:40 p.m. a male called police indicating that he had been robbed. The male stated that unknown persons offered him a ride in the area of Sidney Street at Bell Blvd.  Once in the back seat of this silver Honda Civic, he was punched and relieved of his money. The victim received minor injuries. There are no descriptions of the suspects.


Belleville, ON - On November 18th at 5:20 a.m. a male had his wallet stolen out of a vehicle. The credit cards inside were used at several gas stations. Video footage was obtained and the suspects were identified. At 2:00 p.m. one of the suspects was arrested for being in possession of stolen property. The 40 year old male was held for a bail hearing on November 19th, 2019. Police are issuing arrest warrants for a man and a woman for theft and credit card offences.

Update: On November 19th at 2:45 a.m. police observed the 27 year old male from the video on College Street East. He was arrested and held for bail on charges of fraud under $5000, possession of stolen property and breach of probation.


Belleville, ON On November 18th at 11:04 p.m. police attended on Albion Street regarding a domestic dispute. Police arrested a 36 year old Belleville man. He was bound by conditions to not have any contact with the woman. The male was charged with two counts of breach of probation and held for a bail hearing on November 19th, 2019.
