Break & Enter(s)
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 19, 2009, at 5:00 a.m., police responded to a Break & Enter at a Dundas Street East restaurant. Entry was gained by smashing a widow to the building. A large amount of alcohol was reported stolen. This is incident is currently under investigation.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 19, 2009, between 1130 a.m. and 430 p.m., a Magnolia Court resident reported a Break and Enter to their residence. Entry was gained via the access door in the garage. A 54 inch plasma Panasonic television, 3 iPods, a digital camera and a Playstation 3 system were among the items stolen.
Prowl by Night
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 19, 2009, at 10:02 p.m. police responded to the Pringle Street area for a complaint of a suspicious male walking down driveways, disappearing from view for approximately 30 seconds and then re-appearing and continuing on to the next house.
The male was described as in early 20?s,  bald shaved head, tall, slim build, wearing a jacket with light colours on the front and back,  and blue or dark coloured sleeves and shoulders, dark pants and white sneakers. A male matching this description was located on Prince of Wales Drive. Further investigation lead to a 26 year old Belleville man being charged for Prowl by Night, Personation with Intent and 3 counts of Failing to Comply with a Recognizance. This male will appear for a bail hearing on 20 October 2009.
Stolen Vehicle
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 19, 2009 at 8:15 a.m., police received a report of a stolen vehicle from Ashley Street. The vehicle had been taken sometime overnight. The vehicle is a 1991 GMC short box, Sierra Pickup, dark blue in colour and did not have a plate attached. The truck is described as having primer on hood, tinted windows, chrome bumpers and molding, which is missing from the driver?s side rear wheel well.
