Belleville, Ont. - On August 2, 2009 the Belleville Police Service responded to a Robbery call in the East end of the City. The teenage victim had his backpack containing various items taken. The suspects are: white male approx 18yrs old, wearing blue shirt, black hat, with tattoos on arm, and a white female suspect, described as having long dark hair and wearing a yellow and orange dress. The investigation has been turned over by the Criminal Investigation Branch. The investigation is continuing.
Breach of Conditions
Belleville, Ont. - On August 2, 2009 while members of the Belleville Police Service were investigating the Robbery complaint, Police observed a lone, intoxicated male who was known to them. The male had been arrested in December of 2008 and released on conditions. One condition was not to be away from his residence without his surety, and not to possess or consume alcohol. The male was arrested, and held for a bail hearing for 2 counts of fail to Comply with his Recognizance.
Belleville, Ont. - On August 2, 2009, at 11:30pm Belleville Police Service responded to complaints of a group of teenagers smashing bottles and yelling on Dufferin Street. Police located the 16-17 year old males. Investigation revealed they were had broken bottles from Pine Street to Dundas Street. They were cautioned for their actions and cleaned the broken glass up from the street.
