Train ? Pedestrian Collision

Belleville, Ontario ? On 01 December 2011 at 4:54 p.m. Belleville Police Service Officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a train in the area of Moira Street West and Loyalist Road. The collision was found to have actually occurred near Montrose Road. Belleville Police Service rendered assistance and stood by until Ontario Provincial Police arrived and took over the investigation as the incident was located within Quinte West.


Belleville, Ontario ? On 01 December 2011 at 5:51 p.m. Belleville Police Service received a complaint of Fraud related to hockey ticket sales over the internet. With information supplied by the victim, Patrol Officers were able to shortly after locate and arrest the suspect. Charged with 2 counts of Fraud and 2 counts of False Pretences and appearing in court on 05 January 2012 is 23 year old Brent WEISFLOCK of Belleville.


Belleville, Ontario - On 02 December 2011 starting at 4:30 a.m. Belleville Police Service along with Fire Services responded to several intentionally set vehicle and other fires in the area West of North Front Street between College and Tracey Street. Police K9 and Patrol Officers are investigating and still in the area at time of media release time?.further to follow??
