Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario ? March 2, 2010 at 9:35 p.m. police attended at a residence on Elm Street in response to a complaint of a break and enter which occurred between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.. Entry was gained by smashing a window and a 42 inch Sharpe t.v. and a HP laptop were stolen. This investigation is ongoing.

Theft of Bicycles

Belleville, Ontario ? March 2, 2010, between 8:35 a.m. and 3:35 p.m. unknown person(s) stole 2 bicycles from Holloway Street, described at a black BMX X-Games bicycle with red lettering and Theft of BMX X-Games bicycle - black w/ red lettering from the porch overnight and the second one is described as a teal coloured, youth mountain bike, 18 speed (which was locked to the fence but the lock was cut). These investigations are ongoing.


Belleville, Ontario ? March 2, 2010, Niagara Regional Police arrested a 44 year old St Catherine's man on warrants initiated by Belleville Police. The warrants were sworn after a Belleville woman complained of being threatened on 3 February, 2010. The 44 year old male will appear in provincial court at 1:00 p.m. on March 3, 2010.
