Criminal Harassment Arrest/Charges

Belleville, Ontario ? On 26 October, 2011 at 9:00 p.m., police attended at a residence on Octavia Street in response to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle being driven by a white male with glasses. It was reported that at approximately 8:00 p.m., this male while driving a new white 4 door car had approached 2 teenagers. The male and female were walking in the neighborhood.

Later that evening, on 27 October, 2011 at 12:50 a.m., police attended at a residence on Pine Street in response to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle being driven by a white male with glasses. It was reported that at approximately 11:50 p.m., the adult female complainant was walking on Pine Street when she observed a white 4 door vehicle driving very slowly while approaching and eventually driving passed her.

As a result of the investigation by the Belleville Police Service Criminal Investigation Division a 53 year old, Belleville, man was arrested on 1 November, 2011.

Brian Miklos has been charged with 3 counts of Criminal Harassment and is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on 8 December, 2011.
