Theft charge
Belleville, Ontario – On November 1st 2019 at 6:29 p.m. police were called to a grocery store in the north end of the city for a report of a female shoplifter. An investigation revealed a city resident was observed stealing merchandise. 49-year old Tonia Lois Marie Burshaw was arrested, taken into custody, and charged with theft – under five thousand dollars. Burshaw was released on an undertaking with strict conditions and a promise-to-appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on November 28th.
