Assault and Uttering Threats
Belleville-, Ontario ? On the 20th of April 2009, at approximately 1:07pm, Police were called to Nicholson Catholic School in regards to a disturbance that had occurred earlier in the morning between two students. In compliance with the Zero Tolerance Policy within the schools as it relates to violence, police were called to investigate the incident. As a result, a 15 year old Prince Edward County youth was later located at his residence, arrested and charged with one count of Assault and one count of Uttering Threats. Police also seized a Pellet Gun. He was released on a Promise to Appear and with a court date scheduled for May 2009.
Belleville, Ontario ? On the 20th of April 2009 at approximately 4:23 pm, Police were called to an east end residence in relation to an Unwanted Person at that location. Police arrived on scene and arrested a 19 year old Tweed man. He was taken into custody and subsequently charged with one count of Assault and one count of Mischief. He was released on a Promise to Appear and an OIC Undertaking with a court date in May 2009.
Belleville, Ontario - On the 20th of April 2009 at approximately 4:20pm, several calls were received at Belleville Police Service reporting a mulit vehicle collision at the intersection of King George Square and North Front Street. Police, Fire and Ambulance attended the scene. There were 4 vehicles involved in the collision with at least two vehicle occupants being taken to hospital by ambulance. There injuries were not serious. Investigation is continuing with charges pending.
