Belleville, Ontario – On April 20th, 2017, at 1:09 a.m. police attended at a bar on North Front Street in relation to an unwanted female. The woman was refusing to leave the property but left upon police request.


At 1:13 a.m. police attended downtown for a large fight in the area of the footbridge. Two males were detained but were released unconditionally. No one was injured in the disturbance. There were no charges.


Break and Enter


Belleville, Ontario – On April 20th, 2017, at 2:35 a.m. police responded to a break and enter in progress at a business on Coleman Street. The caller described a male running from the store carrying a laptap. The male was located on West Moira Street several minutes later and arrested. The laptop was recovered. A 35-year-old Belleville man faces charges of break, enter and theft and breach of probation. He will appear in court on May 25th, 2017.
