Theft from Motor Vehicles- Belleville On

In the past 24 hours there have been reports of seven different of motor vehicles being entered on Hoskins Road, Thurlow Township in the City of Belleville. Unknown person(s) are going through the vehicles and taking whatever is easy to carry. A quick reminder to residents of the city to lock your cars doors, remove valuables and if you hear anything strange or see anything suspicious call the police

Stolen Vehicle- Belleville, Ontario- Update Arrest

During the overnight hours on the 18th of August, a 2008 Pontiac Montana Van red in colour was taken from the driveway of an Edward Street address. The van was plated with Ontario plates BNZW465 and had a rear window sticker of 2 girls and a boy skateboarding. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

Belleville Police Service uniformed officers and members of the Street Crime Unit located the stolen vehicle on Baldwin Street. Officers arrested 2 individuals that were operating the vehicle without incident. A 51 year old female from Belleville and a 21 year old male from Marlbank are charged with possession of stolen property over $5000. Both have been released on a Promise to appear with a court date of the 16th of October 2013.
