Further Charges for males Arrested in Armed Robberies
Belleville, Ontario ? On December 16, 2010 a joint investigative team involving OPP Crime Units from Prince Edward County, Napanee and Central Hastings and the Belleville Police Service arrested and charged two Belleville men for armed robberies. December 20, 2010, these same men were further charged with incidents from Belleville.
On 29 August, 2010 at 4:27 p.m., a lone male entered a pharmacy in Belleville's East End demanded oxycotin and brandished a knife. The male was described as late teens to early 20's, tall, thin, large sunglasses, red hoodie. The male stole the till containing cash. The male then fled the store and was last seen running westbound on Bridge Street East. A 23 year old male of Belleville has been charged with one count of Robbery and one count of Weapons Dangerous as result of this incident.
On 28 October, 2010 at 9:09p.m., 2 males entered a restaurant located on Dundas Street East, Belleville. One male held the door open while the other grabbed the cash register and ran out the door. The cash register contained cash. A 23 year old and a 21 year old Belleville man have each been charged with one count of theft under $5000.00.
On 20 November, 2010 at 4:15 p.m., 2 males entered the same restaurant on Dundas Street East, Belleville. One male held the door while the other grabbed the cash register and the pair eventually fled the store with the cash from the register. Belleville men aged 23 and 21 have each been charged with one count of theft under $5000.00.
