Liquor License Act

Belleville, Ont., -  On 20 February 2009 shortly after 12:00am police were called to Loyalist College in reference to a disturbance.  Officers arrived on scene and took an 18 year old male into custody for Public Intoxication.  He was released from custody after having sobered up.

 

Bail Violation

Belleville, Ont., -  On 20 February 2009 at approximately 1:30 am, police were called to a North Front Street bar in regards to a complaint of an assault by male caller, however he had left prior to police arrival.  Several minutes later, this same male attended a nearby residence and in doing so breached his bail conditions stemming from an incident earlier this past week. Police were called to that location and were able to locate the male a short time later and arrested him for Breach of Undertaking.  He has been held for a Bail Hearing later this date.    

 

Theft from Vehicle
Belleville,Ont., - On 20 February 2009 at 2:50 am, police were called to investigate the theft   from a commercial motor vehicle in the City?s northeast industrial park.  It appears that a window was smashed out of the truck and a heater was stolen.

 
Disturbance
Belleville, Ont., - On 20 February 2009 at 3:10am police were called to a loud disturbance at a west end apartment building.  Police arrested a 21 year old Belleville female for Breach of the Peace.  She was kept in cells and later released.
