Residential Break and Enters

Belleville, Ontario ? On 20 February, 2012 at 1:54 a.m., police attended at a residence on Ann Street in response to a report of a break and enter that had just occurred. The resident observed the culprit enter their residence via the front door. The culprit is described as male, wearing long black jacket and wearing black cap. The culprit fled the residence after being confronted by the resident northbound on Ann Street on foot.

Belleville, Ontario ? On 20 February, 2012 at 1:57 a.m., police attended at a residence on Alexander Street in response to a report of a break and enter that occurred between 1:45 a.m. and 1:50 a.m.. The complainant reported that a male had entered the residence through a rear door. A resident awoke and observed the culprit standing in the doorway of their bedroom and upon being observed the culprit immediately left the room and exited the residence. The culprit is described as male wearing a dark coat, dark pants and a dark hat. The culprit is believed to have left the residence via the front door.

Belleville, Ontario ? On 20 February, 2012 at 1:57 a.m., police were flagged down while attending another call on Alexander Street and informed of a complaint of a sexual assault that had occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. in a residence on Alexander Street . The culprit entered the residence via the main door and entered a bedroom and sexually assaulted the female resident. The culprit was confronted and immediately left the residence. The culprit is described as a white male approximately 5?8? to 5'10? in height wearing dark clothing and a dark hat.

These investigations are ongoing.
