Break and Enter- Residential

Belleville, Ont. On the 19th of January 2017 at approximately 7:20Am Belleville Police Service investigated a break and enter at a Moira Street West residence. The investigation revealed that sometime between the previous night and 6Am, unknown person(s) entered the residence removing a stereo system and several other items. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Belleville Police or Quinte Crime Stoppers.   

Vehicles Entered- Theft

Belleville, Ontario. On the 19th of January 2017, Belleville Police received multiple reports of vehicles parked in the William Street, Ann and Charles Street areas being entered overnight. Suspects are removing items left within the vehicles. Wanted Person-Arrest 

Belleville, Ont. – On the 19th of January at 5:30Pm Belleville Police received information that a male wanted by Police was at an east end business. Officers attended and located the 23yr old male from Belleville. He was arrested and will be held for a bail hearing on a charge of theft under $5000 and breach of probation. 

Prowl by Night-Theft Arrests

On the 20th of January 2017 at 1:27Am an officer on patrol observed two suspicious males in the area of MacDonald Ave and Bridge Street. Upon seeing the cruiser the males split up and began to run. Other officers attended the area and the suspects were apprehended. The investigation revealed the males age 19 and 17yrs were found to be in possession of stolen property from nearby vehicles they had entered.  Both males were released on a Promise to Appear with conditions for a March court date.
