Motor vehicle Collision

BELLEVILLE ON - Police investigated a collision between two vehicles on July 19, 2018 at 12:09pm near Moira ST W and Avonlough Rd.  The rear-end collision required one driver to be treated for minor injuries at the scene by paramedics.  As a result of the investigation, a 20 yr old female was charged with Careless Driving.

 

Shoplifting

BELLEVILLE ON – Three female youths were caught by store security at a business located in the city’s north end on July 19, 2018.  It’s estimated they had a combined value of $350 in make-up product from the business.  Further investigation discovered an addition $200 in un-paid product from another north end business.  The three youths who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act have been referred to Youth Referral Board for extrajudicial sanctions.

 

BELLEVILLE ON – A 21 yr old man faces theft and breach of probation charges after being arrested by store security at a north end business on July 19, 2018.  The suspect did not pay for an unknown amount for store merchandise prior to leaving the store.  Further investigation discovered the suspect being bound by two probation orders made by the Ontario Court of Justice.  The Belleville resident, release on a Promise to Appear will answer to his criminal charges on August 30, 2018

 

Stolen ATV

BELLEVILLE ON – A 125cc four wheeler was reported stolen sometime between July 16-19, 2018 from a Coleman Street residence.  Suspects entered the utility shed and removed the ATV without the homeowners’ knowledge.  The investigation is ongoing.

Belleville, On – on 18 July 2018 at BPS took a report of a stolen bicycle from a grocery store on N. Front Street, Belleville.  This bike was left unlocked at the front of the store.  The suspects involved in the theft are pictured below.  If anyone has any information that will assist in identifying the suspects and locating the bike; BPS is requesting that PC Waite be contacted at 613-966-0882 ext 4083.
