Belleville, Ont. ? On October 20, 2009 at 12:01 a.m., police responded a parking lot at the rear of Front Street for a theft from motor vehicle complaint. The victim reported that the rear window had been smashed out of his 2003 Saturn S13 and a beige coloured, plaid ?Element? backpack had been stolen.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 20, 2009, at 8:35 a.m., police attended at two businesses on Wilson Avenue in relation to graffiti on the building. This incident is currently under investigation.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 20, 2009, at 11:09 a.m., police attended at CN underpass at Cannifton Road in relation to graffiti on the wall of the underpass. This incident is currently under investigation.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 20, 2009, at 10:09 p.m., police attended at a North Front Street business in relation to a shoplifter that fled the business without attempting to pay for two baskets of meat. The shoplifter was apprehended while hiding in some bushes at a near by residence. Further investigation revealed that the shoplifter was currently bound by Probation Order. A 39 year old Belleville man was charged with Theft Under $5000.00 and Breach of Probation. He was detained in Custody and is awaiting a Bail Hearing set for October 21, 2009
