Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario On September 19, 2013 at 9:20 am, police responded to a residence on George Street in regards to a break and enter. Sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered a shed on the property and a saw was stolen. A fence was also damaged on the property as a result. This investigation is continuing.

Impaired Driving and Fail to Remain

Belleville, Ontario On September 19, 2013 at 4:09 pm, police responded to a parking lot on Northfront Street in regards to a fail to remain accident. Police attended in the area and located the suspect vehicle proceeding on College Street West. As a result of an investigation, a 46 year old male from Bronx, NY was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving, Drive over 80 and Fail to Remain at the scene of an accident. He is being held for a bail hearing on September 20, 2013.


Belleville, Ontario On September 20, 2013 at approximately 7:00pm, a male was walking on Leslie Drive when three males on bicycles all dressed in orange and red shirts and orange ball caps approached the victim from behind. One of the males then snatched his cellphone from him. Later that evening, the victim reported the incident to police. There were no injuries. This investigation is continuing.
