Accident(s)

 

Belleville, Ontario On September 19th, 2014, at 7:12 a.m. police, fire and EMS attended at a two-car accident on Dundas Street East at McDonald Avenue. One of the drivers was treated for minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.  Public Works attended to remove debris from the roadway. A 34 year old Belleville man was charged with disobeying a red light.

 

On September 20th, 2014, at 12:40 a.m. police attended on North Front Street at Harriett Street as a pick-up truck had struck a tractor trailer.  The investigation revealed that the driver of the pick-up truck had fallen asleep. A 17 year old youth was charged with careless driving.  There were no injuries.

 

 

Break and enters

 

Belleville, Ontario On September 19th, 2014, at 7:43 p.m. police attended at a residence on Chelford Crescent in relation to a break and enter.  Sometime during the day suspects removed a PS 3 system and games as well as an HP computer.

 

On September 19th, 2014, at 10:08 p.m. police attended on Hemlock Crescent in relation to a break and enter.  Taken was a quantity of jewelry and liquor. Anyone with information can contact Crimestoppers at 969-TIPS.
