Theft From Motor Vehicle

Belleville, Ont., - On February 21 2009 at approximately 7:15 pm  police were contacted by a Baldwin Street resident concerning a theft from his vehicle overnight the previous evening. A side window was smashed out and the complainant?s wallet, cell phone, and MP3 player were stolen from inside. Police would like to remind area residents to avoid leaving valuables inside their vehicles when leaving them unattended for extended periods of time.



Belleville, Ont., - On 21 February 2009 at approximately 7:22 pm, police were called to a Dunbar Street residence to investigate a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival officers found two males who had been released on previous charges with conditions not to associate or communicate with one another. One of the two was also found to have a quantity of marijuana on his person.  A 15 year old male Youth from Belleville was arrested and charged with one count of Breach of Undertaking. He was released on a Promise to Appear. An 18 Year old Belleville man was arrested and charged with Breach of Undertaking and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He also, was released on a Promise to Appear.


12 Hour Suspension


Belleville, Ont., - On February 21 2009 at approximately 2:56 am,  an officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle driving erratically on Tracey Street. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was issued a road side breath demand. As a result of the investigation, a 21 year old Marmora man was issued a 12 hour licence suspension and his vehicle was towed from the scene.
