Home Invasion

Belleville, Ontario On August 20th, 2012, at 5:37 p.m. Police responded to a Russell Place address in relation to a home invasion. It was learned that three males had kicked in the front door and threatened to kill one of the occupants. All three males were armed with wooden clubs. As a result of an investigation, three males were arrested and held for Bail Hearings. All three are Belleville men and their ages are 46, 41, and 21. No one was injured in this incident, and nothing was taken. This incident is believed to be retaliation for an earlier disturbance in the east end. The trio is jointly charged with:

  1. Break and Enter with intent
  2. Forcible Entry
  3. Assault with a weapon
  4. Utter death threats
  5. Mischief
  6. Criminal Harassment

Arrest on Warrants

Belleville, Ontario On August 20th, 2012, at 9:00 p.m., a 22 year old Belleville woman was arrested on Front Street on the strength of outstanding warrants from Oshawa. She was turned over to the Durham Regional Police Service to answer to the charges.
