On the 20 August 2014 at 430 am police responded to a disturbance in the Elgin street area. Police located a seventeen year old male wandering around. Investigation revealed the male was breaching his recognizance, for being out past his curfew. The male was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service. Police conducted further investigation and found the male had a quantity of drugs on him. The male was also charged with possession of a narcotic for the purpose of trafficking. The young person was held for a show cause hearing  on the 20thAugust 2014.




On the 20th day of  August 2014 at  1050 am police took a report of a break and enter into an east end residence , located on Dundas street East. The break and enter had happened within the previous 48 hours. There was a small quantity of prescription drugs taken along with some laundry soap tablets. At the point there are no suspects. On the 21st day of August 2014 at 3: am police responded to a traffic complaint on Moira Street west . The vehicle was seen travelling at a high rate of speed without its lights on. Police stopped the vehicle on Bridge street west. Investigation revealed that the 24 year old male had been consuming alcohol. The driver was given a three day suspension and a Provincial Offence Notice for careless driving
