Bail Violations

Belleville, Ontario ? On the 21st of February 2010 at 12:15 a.m., Officers recognized a male in a licensed bar in the City's north end. This male had a number of bail conditions which included "not to be in a licensed establishment?, "not to consume alcohol?, and a curfew. He was arrested and charged with three counts of Breaching his Recognizance. He was held for Bail on February 22, 2010.

Impaired Driver

Belleville, Ontario - On the 21st of February 2010 at 12:45 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a car going through the red light on North Front Street at Tracey Street. The vehicle was stopped, and the female driver identified herself verbally. The officer questioned her identity and learned that she had provided a false name. She was arrested for Obstructing Police. During the investigation, it was learned that she was a suspended driver. A further check revealed that she had been drinking. She provided a suitable sample on the approved screening device and failed. The 28 year old Belleville woman was charged with "Over 80 mgs?, Obstructing Police, and Driving Under Suspension. She will appear in court on April 8th, 2010.

Intoxicated Person(s)

Belleville, Ontario - On February 21st, 2010 between 2:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., a total of 5 people were arrested for public intoxication under the Liquor Licence Act.
