Break and Enter(s)

Belleville, Ontario ? On 21 June, 2011 between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m., a resident from Lavender Place was awakened to an unknown noise and flashlight from within the home. The resident began to search the residence for the source of the noise and located an unknown male in the living room. This male was loading the resident's property into a knapsack. The resident challenged the male which escalated into a physical confrontation. The robber then fled the residence. A short canine track led police to where the male that was hiding under a tree.

A 23 year old male of no fixed address has been charged with one count each of Break, Enter and Committing Theft, Assault, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Breach of Probation. This male will appear in Provincial court for a bail hearing on 21 June, 2011.

Belleville, Ontario ? On 20 June, 2011 at 11:19 a.m., police were called by an employee of The Greek Banquet Center who reported that he had observed a male behind the bar area who was acting suspiciously. This male then fled the hall. The employee followed the male and observed him drop a knapsack. Investigation of this incident led to Alex Ibey (49 years) of Belleville being charged with one count each of Theft Under $5000.00 and Mischief Under $5000.00. Ibey will appear in Provincial court on 29 July, 2011.

Belleville, Ontario ? On 20 June, 2011 between 7:19 and 7:38 a.m., two break and enters were reported to police by a resident and construction trailer from Kipling Drive. The resident reported that an unknown person(s) stole electronics and 2 bicycles and the business reported construction tools were stolen from the trailer. This investigation is ongoing.

Belleville, Ontario ? On 20 June, 2011 at 8:48 a.m. employees from a business office on Pinnacle Street reported that over the weekend unknown person(s) forced entry via a second story window and stole electronics. This investigation is ongoing.

Belleville, Ontario ? On 20 June, 2011 at 10:04 p.m., police attended at a residence in response to a report of a disturbance. Investigation of this complaint was unfounded but further investigation led to the discovery of marihuana plants. The 22 year old female and 23 year old male residents have been arrested for one count each of Production of Schedule II (marihuana) Controlled Drug. Both the male and female will appear in Provincial court on 21 June, 2011 for a bail hearing.

Mischief Under $5000.00 and Prowl by Night

Belleville, Ontario ? On 21 June, 2011 at 1:44 a.m. police were called by a resident of Herchimer Avenue for assistance in dealing with a group of males outside the residence that were damaging a truck parked in the driveway. Investigation of this complaint led to the arrest of 4 males.

  1. Luke Bourgeau (28 years) of Belleville has been charged with one count of Mischief under $5000.00 and one count of Prowl by Night. Bourgeau will appear in Provincial court on 18 August, 2011.
  2. Patrick Joseph Monahan (25 years) of Belleville has been charged with one count of Mischief under $5000.00 and one count of Prowl by Night. Monahan will appear in Provincial court on 18 August, 2011.
  3. Randolf Perchacz (27 years) of Belleville has been charged with one count of Mischief under $5000.00 and one count of Prowl by Night. Perchacz will appear in Provincial court on 18 August, 2011.
  4. Adam Hobbs (25 years) of Belleville has been charged with one count of Mischief under $5000.00, one count of Prowl by Night and one count of Breach of Probation. Hobbs will appear in Provincial court on 18 August, 2011.

Operation of Motor Vehicle with more than 80 mgs of Alcohol

Belleville, Ontario ? On 20 June, 2011 at 4:35 p.m., police attended in the area of South Front Street in response to a complaint of a possible impaired driver. Investigation of this complaint led to Rudolf Majoros (61 years) of Westport being charged with Operation of Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol and will appear in Provincial court on 14 July, 2011.
