Theft of Motor Vehicle Belleville, Ontario.

 

 At approximately 10:23 am on March 20, 2014 police were dispatched to a Farnham Road business to investigate the theft of a truck. Sometime between February 27th and March 20th the vehicle was taken from the business parking lot. It was described as a 2003 GMC Sierra Duramax Diesel 2500HD, grey in colour. The truck was unplated and had chrome rims with high end tires. Anyone with any information about the theft is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

 

Robbery Belleville, Ontario.

 

 At approximately 9:58 pm on March 20, 2014 police were called to the area of Moira Street West at Sidney Street to investigate a report of a robbery. The victim had placed an ad on Kijiji looking to sell his IPhone 5C. He made arrangements to meet a potential buyer in a nearby parking lot and when he showed the suspect the phone he immediately grabbed it from the victim and took off on foot. The phone was described as being pink in colour and the suspect was last seen running southbound on Elgin Street. He is described as a white male in his mid 20s wearing a black jacket and jeans. He was approximately 6 feet tall and had short reddish blonde hair and was scruffy and unshaven in appearance.  The victim was not injured as a result of the incident. Anyone with any information about this occurrence is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

 

Over 80 MG Belleville, Ontario

 

 At approximately 1:29 am on March 21, 2014 police were called to a North Front Street business to investigate a report of an impaired driver. The vehicle was located by officers nearby and the driver subsequently failed a roadside breath test and was arrested at the scene and transported to the Belleville Police Service. He then provided samples of his breath that indicated that his blood alcohol level was over the legal limit. Jesse Molloy, 25, of Belleville faces a charge of Over 80 MG. He was later released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of April 24, 2014.
