Belleville, Ont. - On October 21, 2009, at 3:09 a.m. police received a report that the front window of a Bell Blvd business had been smashed and that two people were seen in the business. Witnesses report the two suspects fled north bound in a two tone Dodge Caravan. One of the suspects is described as thin build, wearing a dark ?hoodie, white running shoes and jeans. This incident is currently under investigation.
Hit & Run Motor vehicle Collision
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 21, 2009 at 5:30 p.m., police received a report of a vehicle striking a tree on Bridge Street West. The driver of the vehicle fled from the scene running towards Catherine Street. He is described as in his 20?s, tall, slim build with dark hair and dressed in dark clothing. Further investigation revealed the plates on the vehicle were registered to another vehicle. This accident is currently under investigation.
Motor vehicle Collision ? Pedestrian
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 21, 2009 at 7:20 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Church Street at Bridge Street East. The pedestrian was taken to Belleville General Hospital and treated for minor injuries. No charges were laid as a result of this accident.
Belleville, Ont. ? On October 21, 2009, a motor vehicle was stolen from a Marsh Drive address. The theft was reported to police at 11:26 a.m., and believed to have been taken sometime overnight. The vehicle is a 2000, Pontiac Grand Prix, four door, grey with plate # AWMT281.
